Three ‘Happening’ events in the Capital at different places on the same day and one is surely spoilt for choice.This is what happened the last weekend with me. Two literary festivals and the Tata Hexa Experience event and all the three on the 26th and 27th of November!!
As we were planning to head to the literary festival after our shopping spree in Gurgaon, in – popped a mail from ‘Indiblogger’ inviting me to attend the Tata Hexa Experience at Gurugram. I missed the opportunity before to apply and attend the ‘Launch Event’ at Hyderabad and wished later that I had been there. So, call it coincidence or sheer luck , here was the invite and I was sure to say ‘Yes’. I was really thrilled about attending it as a blogger and my family’s enthusiasm to accompany me added to the excitement.
After completing the procedure of ‘Online Application’ on ‘Indiblogger’,we reached the ‘TATA HEXA’ event venue that was adjacent to the Crowne Plaza in Gurgaon. At the entrance we went through the ‘Registration Procedure’ that consisted of filling the application form, producing the Driving Licence as proof and tying of the security tags on our wrists!
Post this, we met the ‘IndiBlogger’ representative Mr.Karthik who briefed about what is to be expected at the event and then we were all set to soak in the ‘Tata Hexa Experience’. To our relief, there was a children’s play area arranged so that the kids can have fun and keep themselves engaged – that came across as a very thoughtful idea.
Adjacent to it were the ‘Food Stalls’ and thanks to Indiblogger who gave a set of food coupons to satisfy our hunger pangs! We hogged on some ‘Chaat-items’ before exploring the venue.
The whole venue was brightly lit in blue- keeping with the ‘Tata Hexa’ spirit and looked beautiful and breathtaking that has been captured in this panoramic shot of the venue by me…
There were various stalls put up -that displayed the plethora of Tata Products to offer and encourage the people attending the event to splurge on them.A list of the stalls at the event are as follows:

- Tata Beverages
- Tata capital
- Tata Motors
- Tata finance
- Taj Group of Hotels
and Apart from the above there was a GIF media centre that created the GIFs in a jiffy and it was super-fun.
Also there was a quick photo session with a backdrop of ‘TATA HEXA’, Tattoo and masks corner for kids and Food stalls by Aggarwal sweets, Pizza Hut ,Burger King and Karims. And ofcourse there was the 92.7 FM corner to cover the event! A very thoughtful gesture was the ‘Pet Adoption Centre’ inside the venue which was a delight to the dog lovers !
However the biggest superstar of the event was the ‘TATA HEXA’ in Arizona Blue that was parked on a podium. It looked dazzling with its wonderful exteriors and interiors and the crowd was going gaga over it and vying with each other to sit inside!
But our eyes were on the track! The urge to experience the ‘On-track’ drive was too tempting. Seeing the others test it on a created slope, deep trench with slushy mud and water that looked more like hurdles in a motor vehicle race, there was a churn in my stomach.
But this was only till I sat inside the ‘Tata HEXA’.Once I was comfortable, I just soaked in the wonderful interiors and the thrill amplified when we were taken for an adventurous drive by a wonderful driver Mr.Narender. I was relaxed that we were in safe hands.
I realised that it was only me who was scared! My hubby and son were raging to go another round!
Finally , after an adrenaline pumped drive , grabbing a hot cup of coffee each , we settled in our chairs to be enthralled by the wonderful live performances of the ‘Midival Punditz’ and the ‘the Suryansh Project’ band.
I personally was enchanted by the rustic voice of ‘Suryansh Pratap Singh’ the lead singer of the latter band…this band churned out one melody after another keeping the optimum decibel levels that made our day end on a perfect note! Leaving you with some quirky clicks of the day!
It was one well organised event, with the staff being co-operative , helpful and very friendly. The best thing about the pre-launch event here in Gurugram was that it was a complete family outing that made for an exciting and exhilarating ‘TATA HEXA EXPERIENCE’ weekend as it was a combination of family time, entertainment , adventure and ofcourse the food coupons were utilised to satisfy our ‘Supper’ pangs… 🙂
